Awesome. That’s much less daunting than I imagined.

That's the thing. I can't even get a wrench or socket back there.

Same here. Working tons of OT to save up for the kit. Thinking I'll have to start with the LCA relocate, then work up the different pieces as I can.

That's the same boat I'm in as well but I ordered my lca relocate and spindle gussets already. I'm patiently waiting for the guys at the shop to stack dimes on it for me and send it to Idaho.

Yup. Hopefully shortly I’ll order it. But have to get with @snowsk8air2 about scheduling it. He needs to get his truck up and going first.

Going on jack stands tomorrow. Few other projects for people pushed off until mine is done. You start ordering parts and we’ll figure it out.

I couldn’t fit a wrench either so I had to use needle nose and try and get it best I can. It took FOREVER but it works.

If you’re using using bulky tools sand the wrench down. If you don’t want to do that you can get a socket head cap screw and use an Allen wrench.

Good point, but what’s the solution for the rear then for us? hammer hangers are too bulky. Chevy swap seems like the best bet. Am I missing something?

You can run our front and rear hangers/shackles with spring over. And FYI spring under gains you 5-7 inches of additional up travel when compared to spring over

Where can I find more information on them? Couldn’t find it on the JD website.

    Just gussets... everywhere
I’ve never run SUA but for the EC guys(specifically NC) I’ve pulled up to URE and a few other places and seen a spring under crawler or two on 37+ tires doing impressive stuff on the rocks. Clampy and mazgrande from dirt everyday both are SUA rear and are strictly crawlers. Just saying. My truck is primarily a crawler build and I’m pretty sure I’ll be ordering the JD SUA.

No. But the Chevy swap being the best bet that's a yes and no answer. Get more seat time wheel harder and harder trails find where your short comings are and build to that and what you want/need for wheeling and use of the truck. Wheel with a bunch of different rigs and pay close attention to their set ups before you decide which direction to go to see how they did things. I know after getting with a lot more different rigs I'm gonna make some pretty big changes.

Good point. I have plenty of time to figure it out. I don’t plan on doing anything until minimum next year and only if lead times are back in check- for King especially. I’m not having thousands sitting out there making someone else money in the bank and not me.

The VIN plate and enough of the firewall/floor pan to convince my state Motor Vehicle Office, and insurance company, that I still drive an underpowered 2nd gen taco?

934 CVs in, suspension arms in, final assembly/gusseting on spindles is next, then shocks, brakes and fenders.

Relocation kit is 98% done. I had two beads to run on the passenger side when I ran out of wire.

Gets me every time. And I somehow tend to run out of wire and gas at the same time always

I have plenty of gas. I thought I had plenty of wire to finish this up but I guess there's a lot more welding than anticipated. I like to keep a backup on hand but was trying some new wire out and didn't want to buy two rolls in case I wasn't a fan.
