I have designed Tacoma UCA arms for multiple companies, it would be nice if there was an industry standard like ISCG-05 for mt biking

The standard we use for everything is the same as OE... not sure what other people are doing or why for that matter but every upper arm we make (stock width, 2.25 and 4) are all the same as an OE control arm. Also OE bushings and sealed uniball kits are all interchangeable on all our products. This was also done so if you ever wanted to put your truck back to stock the OE parts will bolt right up

Kings F/R 2.5" EXT w/700lb springs, JD Fab UCA’s w/ Lower Pivot Kit, Icon Progressive AAL (with TSB and overload in), CB drop, 285/75-17 nitto ridge grapplers, SCS Deep Dish Ray Dimes, Snugtop Rebel Shell, Prinsu Toprac, Gibson SS Catback Exhaust, ATH front /rear steel bumpers, CVT awning, Airflow snorkel, @ Shmellmopwho sliders, SC w/ @justdsm HPtune, 3° Cam Gears @mightytacoman, 2.8 smooth flow pulley, StopTech BBK
Can someone please share the advantages to the sealed inner uniball pivot vs the OEM bushings. I’m saving for the LT kit, but am in desperate need of some mid travel UCA’s at the moment. Plus with the lead time for kings and what not, my current ones won’t make it.

    thanks fellas.

If you're just in the market for some aftermarket UCAs, you're welcome to my total chaos take-offs.

Unfortunately, you won't be able to reuse them for LT. (As with any stock-width UCA)

Will your sealed uniball with the grease fitting fit Total Chaos UCA's? Mine are ready for replacement soon and this seems like a far superior design.

Looking for someone running the +2.25" kit that is willing to take some measurements to assist with spring rates.

Yep. My job has me away from home most of the time and when I am home I am focused on breaking shit instead of fixing it (2 CV’s in last 2000 miles). Mud is in my mind right now as I was last home in early March and roads were melting and the mountains were a mess which is a ~3 months a year problem. I hate mud. I hate washing off mud even more as mine has significant clay properties. Good to know tabs available to mount inners, but good fab shops are also hard to come by in my area. I’m still running trimmed steel fenders as I only went +2” which is max for my roads, but these inners and glass may be in the future. May need to check with Trekker if he has time to make that and a few other mods for me and I’ll just ship it over there while I am out of the country.

Still don’t appreciate the condescension and I fully understand what JD is making. The tank, fenders and 934 are certainly filling gaps I currently see in my current wagon build. Just haven’t had the chance to put enough all season time on it to see what else it needs.
