ah this is good to know I ran it off position 1 not position 2. Makes sense why it seems long as F. ha

Depends on the line you get and how long it is. Mine were only meant to be ran from position 1.

We had of the lines that come in our kits go from position #2. This eliminates the multiple connections and makes for much cleaner brake routing

I ended up clocking the upper frame mount 90° so it will clear the uca gusset but is also in a natural resting position.

Yeah I didn’t know any better when I did my front, but since I’ve seen it both ways. I’d say position 2 is better with uca gussets, otherwise it’s user choice without them.

What’s the purpose of this and how does it install? Specifically this little additional piece. When I bolt it into the truck with it, the coilover can’t move freely.

When I bolt it in without it, it seems to work like intended.

My guess it goes on top if you’re not using the bypass mounts. To help strengthen the top hat between those two bolts.

Yeah. So half moon/coil bucket/shock mount from top to bottom was my assumption. I’m using a bypass mount so I didn’t mount it.

The limit strap is supposed to be spaced out away from the arm if you’re going to run a bypass. If not I’d get a shorter bolt and ditch one of the spacers

I take my lumps. No excuses here. Most of it’s because I’m lazy and don’t ask questions. My go to is…fuck it ,it fits, weld it! Trust me when I say @Yotamac is sick of hearing that while welding on my truck.

And the lower limit strap bolting. Which was helpful to me because I knew not to do it.

Overall this thread has been very helpful during the install, between Harry showing where he put the upper limit mount, my questions I’ve been asking, someone talking about notching the coil bucket so I knew to actually read the instructions and do the same. :anonymous: Stuff like that. There really haven’t been any surprises.

The only surprise you will have is the first time you take it in the dirt... why did you wait so long to pull the trigger :)

Gotcha I will have to see. my lines are super long they are def too long for how they are setup but are in a way they work and have been fine for a few years. Switching to a LT setup so if needed I can move them position 1. How long were yours?

    Just gussets... everywhere
Does the coil bucket gusset interfere with brake lines in a stock length application?
