I went so far as to buy a new pair off of ebay so I could have them in the correct orientation. I'm also going to make some one piece splash guards. I want at least one nice wheel well pic before it's never this clean again.

Smart. I ordered the same rubber Eddie uses for $40 and made splash guards for in front of my headlights, behind and in the fender well. Best mod I’ve done in a while!!

I made one side today with some tool box drawer liner. Came out pretty solid.

@81Trekker Just a thought.... Have you thought about offering a stock length LCA with the ball joint moved forward? In my opinion, this would probably sell great to anyone that doesn't have access to a welder, the time required to do the job or the necessary skills to do the job. Obviously it wouldn't be as strong as your replacement LCA pivot but it would be a great alternative to the stock length TC, Dirt King, OEM, etc. lower control arms. You already have the .25" upper control arms available so this seems like a it would be a natural fit and a great option to have. Being a bolt-in solution, it could be installed in a couple of hours by the average person versus a much longer, more in depth install and it would eliminate the need to hire a professional if you don't have a welder or the required skills. Personally I would definitely be interested in this product and I think they would probably end up outselling the LCA pivots due to the ease of install.

@Airdog Not really. That post didn't say anything about moving the ball joint forward.

this stuff really isn't designed for stock mounts, it'll work but don't waste your money. If you need a fabbed lca, you need pivots. If you have money to burn go camburg.

No mention of moving the ball joint forward in this post. Personally, I could care less about dual shock provisions. At that point you probably should be looking at the 2.25" kit. I just think it would be a great option for people trying to clear 35's while still running their Bilsteins, Eibach, OME, Dobinsons, Ironman, etc. Not everyone has the money or need for a full LT kit.

Take the time to read the whole thread then... you will find on multiple occasions he has stated he will not make stock length....period.... regardless of where you might like the ball joint to be located...but thanks for playing.

@Airdog I have read the entire post and I've seen multiple times where he has stated that he won't make stock length. Not once though have I seen anybody ask about moving the ball joint forward however so I figured it was worth mentioning. And he does make stock length parts - UCAs. It's possible I missed it or forgot about it in the nearly 3 years & 300+ pages. DO you remember every word that was posted here??? :boink:

Not everyone has the money or need for a full LT kit.-Then perhaps they should not be running 35's. Why does it get expensive? Some would say it is the domino effect. If they are wanting to run the same axles, steering, shocks, fenders inner fenders etc. when they go from 33's to 35's? They need to step back and ask for advice from the professionals.

you're missing the point. stock length fabbed lcas are fucking stupid. if you need the strength then you need pivots too. they make a 2.25 and with inset wheels (more stupidity) you're back to stock width for whatever reason.

Yes.... The "Do you, Can you make stock LCA's" question is the "can I fit 33's with no lift" question on this thread.
