Fitting 35’s with minimal trimming NOW ADDING LONG TRAVEL AND 934 CV’s

Idk.... its pretty hard to argue with the zero waste you get from bend tech. I've done it old school, maybe I'm just not on the level of zero waste yet.

 

Tubing is cheap compared to my time, if I waste a little so be it... spending hours on a computer to design something that still won’t be as perfect as what I can do doesn’t make sense to me. Again this is for one off stuff, if it’s a tube chassis truck built in a jig that’s a different story.

 

But what if you’re the designer and fabricator?!

 

But why start with factory? Why not just start from scratch?

 

At that point, I wouldn't be rocking bolt on stuff. To put it simply, I run 2 businesses and I barely have time to change my oil. Trying to keep it simple right now so I don't have a 5 year build on my hands.

 

100% true.

 

The best designers have hands on experience. Any one can learn software but understanding what happens and how it happens after it leaves the computer is an invaluable combination. And if your the guy that does both, I want to be you...I just need a 48 hour work day to make it happen haha. I'll stick to the computer and use my hands on experience to complete better projects

You could try an M12 bolt, which are 0.472”

 

You can however I just received a call from Fox that they sent the wrong mis alignments. New ones will be sent to you right away

 

Good deal, I started reaming these out so I can get started mocking everything up. I’ll throw the replacements in when they arrive.

 

Honestly, still on the fence between building out the Tacoma DD or getting a CanAm to beef up...only thing that stopped me from pulling the trigger on the front kit that was for sale.

 

I just had Fox drop off a big of the correct spacers, keep me posted and I can send some out to you right away

this is without the misalignment spacers, but I don’t see how this hose isn’t going to get worn through pretty quickly. Am I missing something? Can I give the fitting a little twist if it’s still like this buttoned up properly?
