    it's easier to cut more off as neeed than it is to put it back on after you cut off too much.

SCS f5's with 33" Ridge Grapplers. 20" S8 mounted in bumper, squadron sport fog lights, squadron pro backup lights, LP6's bumper mounted.
    Yeah getting the frame clean is the worst part of the job. Also take ur time when fitting the new mounts up to the frame to get as tight a fit all around as possible.

    I get what tou mean, but every bit of the factory pivots come off, correct? Flap disk down to bare metal is the way i understand it.

    yes all the bracketry, including the flat parts against the frame. And you have to cut the jack point back some to clear the skid plate. I didn’t find that part in the instructions so I asked Harry about it.

    Honestly, be super careful with a flap disk. They will eat into the crossmember real fast. What I did with mine was I took it all down decently close with the flap and finished off with a 60 grit roloc. You have a whole lot more control with the rolocs in my opinion.
