    Too many to remember
    1. All Tacoma frames wedge out towards the rear so the towers are never parallel
    2. It took you 3hr to drill 4 holes?
    3. There is plenty of hose for the filler, you simply unbolt the stock mounting bracket
    4. The plates you are talking about bolt to the top of the towers and then you match drill the bed and put the supplies hardware in... just like in all the pics I sent you.

    Gotcha. Didn't know that.

    2. It took you 3hr to drill 4 holes?
Yes, sadly step bit in an impact plus shitty drill bits and then a run to the hardware store to buy better drill bits. Not saying beer wasn't involved. Plus we don't have access to a mag drill. This isn't a professional shop.

    3. There is plenty of hose for the filler, you simply unbolt the stock mounting bracket
I did this, still wasn't enough.

    4. The plates you are talking about bolt to the top of the towers and then you match drill the bed and put the supplies hardware in... just like in all the pics I sent you.
Okay I see the plate photo, had to look back. I don't have fender well there so can't really use that.

You wanna buy my ADS 2.5x14 triples (I'm stepping down to 2.5x12 with since I have archive towers)? Couple years old with a welded rod end and king style #2 for the tubes. They'd be perfect for the JD kit.

Pictured next to some king 2.5x14s.

I don’t think it will be that simple. Ever see a single piece and how close it is to the carrier bearing crossmember just at ride height? It doesn’t contact now, but with more bump travel, it has me slightly concerned. If I recall, that same crossmember is used to hang the tank.

I’ve done it myself on my truck. The CB x member will either have to be notched or removed both of which are very simple to do. No, the x member does not hang the tank. If you have a 4” shaft you will also need to tweak the position of the e-brake cables where they penetrate the floor of the cab.

I should just take this as an opportunity to do some tube work on the frame to stiffen things up a bit while removing that crossmember. Now that I look at things, I don’t think keeping the crossmember is an option with additional bump travel. My shaft is 3.5” and it’s damn tight in there.

Mine is 4" and the whole cross member had to go. I might have been able to c notch or Z notch the cross member with section a piece of 3/8" wall pipe or use some plate to exactly follow the curve of the cab floor and still have enough clearance at full bump. After Harry finishes plating my frame I may explore that option again, we had also talked about building a V brace from the trans cross member area out to the sides of the frame...I'm on a quest to get the frame as rigid as possible w/o a cage.

question - what gears are you running with that 3.5" shaft ?

Yeah, Tom woods said 75-80. With that said, our highest speed limit is 55 and I’m not running 75-80 in the woods. So it works.

Edit as a side note, I do intend to put a second t-case in it. Which will shorten the shaft substantially and give me more room.

LOL here in San Diego if you're doing 80 mph on the highway you're the asshole slowing people down in the left lane

@Slashaar how does the long bed look with the sua kit? Can you do me a favor? What is the distance from axle tube to frame? I’m going to base my front alignment off of a similar ride height of the h70 springs on the long bed before I actually have some installed on my truck.
