    @81Trekker, I’ve been reading a ton of horror stories about welding bump stop cans and the bump not fitting after. Any tips and tricks for this so we can all put some knowledge in the bank? Kind of an odd question, but I like to read when I am bored.

    I’ve always had mine warp slightly. Small amount of pressure at the opening with a c clamp in the sweet spot helps them slide right in. I’ve also seen the use of a bar stock, drill a hole down the middle of it and then cut it into 1/4 sections. Take tapered rod and hammer it down the drilled out center to push the 1/4 sections outward to help push the can back to round. I guess these would be after the fact tricks if they’re out of round.
