Nope i'm good I know what I got under my truck and how it rides in comparison to the 11 leaf stock yota length pack I had before. But you haven't ever ridden in my truck so yeah......

I assume you are talking about a SUA set up with those deavers and they would be shit for what and how I use my truck.

i have yet to see a 7s truck use uniballs like that. poly bushings sure, but not that. for desert, it should be fine, but not sure how long. you are right about having a good spring with it will help. and yes, no idea where this chevy spring came from lol, I remember back in the day it was good as it was harder to get good springs, but with deaver making a lot of awesome off the shelf stuff, its a no brainer.

I’m actually comparing a similar length springs on a SOA setup. When I bought my 81 is already had the hillbilly Chevy crap on it and it was awful. I replaced the pack with a 62” Deaver spring over pack right away and it was night and day. Then I threw it all in the trash for 4link and never looked back.

There have been a number of 7s trucks that use this identical shackle setup, it is by no means my original idea or anything new. The only other setup I like more than the uniball style is using D44 snout pivots with big bearings pressed into the shackles.

Is 2020 the year of 4-link? I'm really tempted to say #leafsarefortrees. But I just upgraded the back, and need a cage for the links...

So, any word on when a 3rd Gen Tacoma relocate kit might take shape?

What would happen if this kit was used with say, icon or other fixed position uppers. (Not Spc) Could it still be pushed forward the full inch? (I would guess valid question for the 2nd gens.)

There need not be a 3rd gen kit because theres no difference from 2005 to 2020 as far as the front frame goes I believe

it’s already been mentioned in this thread there are differences. Rear bolt holes are larger on 3rd Gen. arms are also different. Not asking a new question, asking for an update.

The real question is what the rear bushing inside diameter? From what I can tell is it’s the same, the difference between 2nd and 3rd gen is the cam diameter. If that’s the case then the kit will work for a 3rd gen as all the cams are replaced with grade 8 bolts

I believe the differences are the following
    All values are "-ish"

    2nd gen:
Front - .750" outside of sleeve
    Rear - .562" bolt diameter

    3rd gen:
Front - .820" outside of sleeve
    Rear - .625" bolt diameter

Mods are currently being changed .....
I'm contemplating upgrading the LCAs during the springtime suspension overhaul. I don't think I really "need" them, but...modding.
All things considered.... differences in the LCAs (inner/outer bushing types, etc), and customer service (always a big one w/ me), is there a clear winner between Camburg, TC and Dirtking? I've never dealt w/ any of those companies before.

Mostly the difference is what color the parts are. There are some subtle differences, and I'm a Dirt King partisan, but all three are a very good choice. And a huge upgrade over the stock arms. Delrin bushings and uniballs let you take full advantage of shock travel.
