Not this trip. We had a destination for yesterday. Next trip we'll setup a tripod or get a chase camera going. We had kids in the other two rigs. Lots of fun blasting through everything.

I had @kasnerd drop his truck off at the shop last night for a prep... I’ll make sure to do a through investigation and let you guys know if this was mall carnage.

Yeaaa, you got me. It was speed bumps and a curb whoop section that ate the bumpstops. Inner fenders for backups! :D

The frame flexed a ton on a very, very hard hit that managed to destroy a Trail Ready wheel

I love nothing more than guys who talk about how they can’t stop rubbing with 33’s. You obviously have a poorly setup suspension and need to stop talking and do more reading and learn how to setup your Tacoma correctly.

Possibly but 2" is a lot to lose with only 14" of travel. Need to use every inch. Damage report when Harry puts eyes on it. Was dark but drove home the same as it drove the day before...like a Cadillac.

I was debating on getting the TR cast wheels but seems like the Forged ones are the only ones made in the US. The cast ones are probably still better than other china wheels though.

In stock. Ready to ship. Do not sleep on this. These kits are Going to sell extremely fast and once they are gone you’re back to waiting. We have pivot kits, skids, steel and aluminum, dual shear steer kits bypass mounts and almost everything else they make.

Why would you lose travel when setting up hydro bumps? Should all be the same

not losing travel, its adding resistance at the last 2"

All in the tuning. Lighten the bump zone on the bypasses and then compensate with the bump. And if you’re bottoming out a lot then adding resistance on the last 2” of travel seems like it would be a good thing

Yea that's a possibility but more than likely it twisted the frame, add in the fact the bumps were chewed up and that's how the arm and fender made contact.

Smashed a few big rocks really HARD. They were landmines hiding in silt/sand. Hit was hard enough to have to stop and check on the rock and ask if it needed cab fare.

Seems like a simple solution. You need hydro bumps and more tuning :anonymous:
