    1” uniballs with custom made cups to fit the subframe kit without using the 1” aluminum spacers like I did on my truck

    I can't leave anything well enough alone
    Are we stuck on the 934 CV due to needing 33 spline axles? Or can 930 CV be used with the appropriate axle? Can the new axle be made stock width, or is this whole thing only for the long travel folks? Thx.

    I'm not sure: but there will be more than one source for UCA/LCA that work with that axle set up. I'm approaching this problem differently than the OP, but he's got resources to make the axle I wish I could.

    Hey Guys I"M watching this build like a Hawk , Awesome engineering and welding ,
    On the axles please explain where the slip joint ? is ? Maybe I"m wrong but does the axle slip in and out with articulation ?

    It's not a slip, it's axle plunge, so the axle can go deeper into the CV joint basically. At least that's my understanding. As the suspension drops out, the hub gets further from the diff because the LCA pivot point is below the diff. Vice versa as the suspension compresses.

    @81Trekker are you leaving the stock coil bucket? Would there be any benefit to fitting a longer coilover in there?

    934 flanges have been laser cut because that’s what was decided on. Technically the same could be done with 930’s but the 934’s fit so why not.

    The axles can be made for any length... stock or long travel

    Correct, the axle plunges with the CV.

    Ditching the coil bucket would have a number of advantages mostly fixing the caster change issue but without doing a full engine cage it becomes a can of worms.
