Fitting 35’s with minimal trimming NOW ADDING LONG TRAVEL AND 934 CV’s

Lets be real. Every crossmember on these frames is nothing more than a place to hang stuff.

 

Do these cam bolts look installed correctly? They seem like they would work even if switched from side to side.

 

It looks correct to me

 

If they were installed wrong, you’ll know. They bind up or you won’t get full motion out of the cams.

 

My camber is way messed up. Way too much positive camber. The cams move freely front and back.

 

the front cams are all the way in in the pictures, you should be able to adjust them out from there to go more negative/neutral on camber.

 

I know what I did wrong, the Cam bolts are wrong side to side that’s why I’m not able to get rid of the positive camber. They all need to be swapped from side to side.

 

I think you're saying you're going to flip the teardrop cam 180 degrees to be in phase better with the rear cams? I don't think they are side specific. That's another adjustment feature of the kit.

They’re for sure side specific. You will end up with way to much positive camber If they’re installed incorrectly side to side. It’s waaay better now.

 

Is the hardware different from the original release? Looks like there’s a nut on the round cams?

 

We use longer bolts now so you can run a jam nut and then top lock. All the cam hardware is also zinc coated now too

 

Ahh, got it. I zinc and nickeled my cams when I got them. Not cheap but they look great and it’s good to have that level of protection.

 

This shit is sweet, truck drives damn good better than is has before with a driveway alignment.

 

Here are some shots of the fitment after removing just a little material from a few spots. Pretty impressed with it. Pretty sure Harry would approve. Driver side didn’t fit as well but only a slight gap on one spot. Probably has something to do with the time I slammed my 1/4 steel skid hard enough on a rock to slightly bend the skid and crossmember.
