    That’s a good question, I wonder if 1”
    Tube would hit the coilover at full lock.

    I have that adapter (it's really nice), a tie rod from JD and the outer double shear. You could also get your own tie rod made from karetek.

    For boots, I'm doing an experiment of an innertube on one side and a shock boot on the other to see which lasts longer. Both have held up to two wheeling trips so far. My money is on the innertube.

    Im staying stock length for now, JD has some? Would be a sweet setup and not have to worry about tie rods anymore.

    Liberating to remove all that weight. Definitely going to watch how much I put back. Tube notcher is stuck in FedEx purgatory, so it’ll just be a winch plate for now. How are y’all plating the frame horns? Those things are deceivingly thin. Kinda want to gusset the right angle they make with the diff crossmember.

    Haha I almost made that joke, but didn’t think anyone would catch it. Thought it was the ravine, but it seems the Bessemer warehouse is the new place for packages to disappear. FedEx is the absolute worst.

    I have the SOS plates with 1/2" hardware upgraded also had the C4 fab reinforcement brackets with the bumper those 2 things really helped a lot but I'd still see some deflection under hard pulls. Since I have the WarFab frame chop kit I'll be cutting the front of the frame horns off right behind the stock plate and welding their plates and hardware on as well as doing some gussets. Also will add bolts to the new center crossmember directly under the winch to add more strength using the winch.

    I am throwing some bolts in the square tube I used for a crossmember too. New skid will bolt to it as well. Plated the bottom of the horns to the new crossmember and some gussets up top. Might box in the horns later, but everything is very solid now.

    I think when I do my new bumper I am going to tie into my lower pivot cross tube. I’ve done lots to strengthen my bumper mounts and I still get a solid half inch or more deflection on a hard pull. I always thought it could use some extra mounting points but never had a real good way until doing the pivots.
