That’s what I’m getting at... you can easily build a bad ass full float 9” for under $5k

Might be something I look a little closer at once I have problems. Part of me wants to do it now and be done while I still have a 3rd that’s worth a decent bit. The other part of me wants to be done spending for a while.

That's what I'm doing, I'm just trying to chill out. The truck works well and is a lot of fun for what I want to do with it. Now comes the fun part of using it and not getting caught up in the arms race of constantly trying to build it bigger and better. I've gotta draw the line somewhere because otherwise it's an endless rabbithole.

Its definitely way too easy to keep spending. I'm way deeper than I wanted to be already and still have lots of little stuff to grab. I'm hoping the spending can come to an end soon. But I have a problem with thinking too much, so its a pretty big challenge to walk away.

For anyone interested I just put the rear SUA kit on the website with detailed descriptions. And @kasnerd truck is the model for the photos... she sure was clean before he started beating the absolute hell out of it :)

Anyone got a good source for oem axles for 934 swap? Thinking about ordering some soon but don’t want to chop up my tc +3.5 axles…

LKQ is a good place to check. I just paid 50$ a piece for OEM.

sounds really similar to my setup in the rear, and I know valving could fix some things (which I’m gonna do a little on before I head to hammers this year) but I’ve also got a dirt designs 4 link and a camburg 9” rear sitting just waiting for me to have time to install….

I’ve always heard mixed on wether they were oem or aftermarket… maybe that’s not true…

If you get them from low mileage vehicles they are pretty much always OEM. The ones I bought have like 40k on them. Look for 3rd gen cv's.

Oh there the same? I guess I never thought about the low mileage thing. Thanks.

I’m hoping soon after the new year to be starting the rear set up next. I gotta find some used shocks in the mean time. Maybe we’ll get the ball rolling when I pick up the inner fenders.

I put out a post on my local toyota facebook page and got some oem axles for free that had torn inner boots. Then got another pair for $40 when I fucked up the first set, so you could always ask around. A lot of people will tear their inner boot, toss the axle in the garage with the intention of rebooting it but never do so you can scoop those for cheap.
