Did you cycle the suspension to full stuff and full droop and turn the wheels lock to lock to make sure your tie rods clear the coils?? With the LCA kit full forward it’s gonna be real close.

It’s pretty dang close but clears, I’ve checked at full droop and ride height. I still need to cycle it at full bump. I will do that when I take the passenger side coilover off to adjust the height and bump stop. I have some tie rods from kartek going in that have a smaller od, these I have picture were just a test. Had the tubing and cheap bungs from barns4wd just to get an exact length for the new tie rods.

Glass wasn't as bad as the 2nd gen kit I did back in 2014. ADV upped the game a bit since the Gassworks days

I'll dig up the GPS file from 2020 we did and share it for March 13th run. Once in Ocotillo I'd like to check Fonts Point, fish creek, and whatever else we can do in a day

I was able to get both fenders fitted into the truck today with a new core support. I’m not sure if anybody else is having this issue, the inner wheel well portion is contacting my brake booster. Might end up putting a small dent in the inner fender to clear if I can’t get it to pull away enough.

Tomorrow I just have to match drill the fill plates under the headlights then pull it all apart to start painting.

Well got them both on after a pretty long day. Still have to mount everything to the fender. So far so smooth. For those who are also putting them in soon. Definitely leave some extra material to work with for mounting. I cut conservative and then when I cut the second time for adjustments I accidentally cut a little too much so I had to re drill the mounting holes like an 1/8-1/4 inch over. Just be more patient than me.

Does yours hit the booster at all?

I had to manipulate some areas because my truck was in an accident so the inner fenders were already all rippled. It was pretty tight but it still seemed to line up okay. I will check in the morning to see how close the booster is to the fender.

I think that is the only area that I had interference. Will be making clearance when I pull it back out. That and I had to use some spacers where the top core support wings attach to Jd inners. 1/4-5/16 worth. Without them the core support wants to bend and wrinkle. It’s aftermarket so I’m not thinking much of it. Fits good enough so far.

Mine was hitting the booster so I had to do a little bending but it was very minimal. I just pulled the bottom of the inner fender forward and then I will trim where the two bends come together. I'll get a picture for you later if you want.

Yeah looks like it does touch it. I’ll probably do the same and bend it down a little.

Well I am going to have a hood clearance issue with this battery. Debating just moving it now because I don’t want to deal with it.

I’ve been concerned about this myself. Starting to think I should have done the small tray. Or just relocate the thing. Problem is, it can’t go in the bed which leaves in the cab or under the truck.

It’s okay. I understand what you did. I had mine welded where they came together. I’m going to most likely put a dent in it somehow. It just needs a small amount to stay off it.

Yeah I think I am going to try to find a spot for it in the cab somewhere. Do you know off the top of your head how many wires I need. I am at the store and forgot to look. I think it’s 2 2 guage and 1 4 guage right?

Better size them up if you are extending the length...
