It depends on how far forward you have the lower arm pushed, where up travel is limited, wheel off set and tire selection.

For an 37” tire the sweet spot is 1.5” forward, cab mount chop and pinch seam.

When you really want to try to use the jd fab stuff. Also added fuses to the terminal junction block and battery.

Boy, 934's are tiny. You sure they will hold up to all of that taco torque?

I only barely know what I'm looking at but I'm wondering why the shackle angle is that steep at droop. Shouldn't it be flatter? Is that what the story is?

Because if it flops over anymore you effectively loose all spring rate. This is the issue with inverted shackles and why you have to limit the travel

It will cycle 19” if you let the shackle flop over but again you will have no spring rate so the travel is completely useless. Anything more than 15” and the shackle flops.

Don’t get me wrong the quality is really nice, the kit just suffers from the inherent design flaw of an inverted shackle

That’s why I am trying to save up for the jd fab SUA kit. I really want to get rid of the low hanging hangars. Especially when you do a high clearance bumper they stick out like a sore thumb.

Got the Howe pump kit all installed. I modified the provided reservoir bracket to work the FJ as the core support and headlight mounting space is different than the Tacoma. I used the -10 90 on the discharge of the reservoir and I added a -10 45 on the pump. I also replaced the -8 straight with a -8 45 at the inlet to the cooler. Harry made a custom fitting for me to adapt to the LC200 rack. Took a little under 4 qts of fluid, so far. The trick about soaking the hose tip in boiling water work magnificently. Now I just need to clearance for 37’s and it should be ready to test out.
