Fitting 35’s with minimal trimming NOW ADDING LONG TRAVEL AND 934 CV’s

    Yeah I think I might try to do something like that. I think it just looks weird seeing the whole core support. I think once I add the lights and winch it will help it look better as well. I was going to cut up some cardboard pieces and see if I’d like the look of some filler plates.

    I welded the rear nut to the bottom of the top hat and its been fine.

    I broke the rules and welded all 6 bolts in tonight. All that’s needed now is a ratchet and about 1 minute of time.

    Was curious to get a double check on if this axle is oem? As far as I can tell it is just figured I would double check. Getting the pieces togethor to get some 934’s hopefully this summer.

    It appears so. It's got those grooves cut out on the inner tulip and has OEM boot clamps.

    What is everybody doing with the portion of the bypass mount that sits on the tower? Welding it in or just leaving it? I can see some benefits to welding it, but everywhere I look they appear to not be welded. Any particular reason?

    Front suspension: Work in progress JD Fab +4 LT, LCA pivot kit, steering slide rack, 934CVs Rear suspension: Archive Garage shock relocation and SUA Conversion,King 14x2.5 shocks, King 2x2 hydro bumps, FN wheels 5 stars, sliders
    We welded mine in at the top with small stitch. As soon as we unbolted it, it wanted to pull inboard and all the holes were misaligned. Held it back in place and had a 1 inch portion welded at the outboard side to hold it in place.

    Yeah, I'm thinking about just welding it in solid since there is easy access with the inners off. I can't see any harm in doing it and would imagine it would only strengthen things.

    It’s challenging to offer a kit as it depends on what’s under the hood which affects tube length and design.

    That makes sense. Tons of differences under the hood from model years and trim packages.

    Question for you guys with UMP intakes, especially you supercharged guys:

    Which UMP part number are you running?

    For space saving, it would be nice to run the 8" diameter, 14.5" long #10905 housing, but not sure if that supports (or will support future, hopefully supercharged) intake demands.
