Fitting 35’s with minimal trimming NOW ADDING LONG TRAVEL AND 934 CV’s

Finished these up last night. Since the weekend trip fell through I might start pulling out the archive sua to prep for the JD kit. Picked up some springs from Harry last week.

What do you mean? I have archive garage spring under currently. Picked up some h70s form Harry, waiting for him to stock his hangers so I can switch to the JD spring under. I want a more comfortable ride that can play nice with the +4 while I wait and collect link parts over the next year. Since most of it is bolt on I’ll sell the whole suspension and axle take off.

It’s not a kit, full projector retrofit. I bought some new Toyota headlights, I used NHK bi led projectors, panamera switchback shrouds. Which are not compatible like most shrouds, found out the hard way. Lightwerkz said they didn’t know. Painted the surround and Epoxied the projectors in with the nut and bolt method. Sourced all my parts from lightwerkz.

How did you do the tube on the ends that is at a small angle? Every one I do that steep looks like the end of a fucked up soft taco.

 

Same here. I actually really don’t like normal light bars.

They are kind of a bitch to get proper. It’s basically a compound angled notch. I basically just walk them in with a few passes on a belt sander I made for tube work. Bend angles also play a decent part in getting them to land right.

 

No notcher just kinda shave a bit off at a time?

No notcher. Roughed in with a cold cut saw and made right with a belt sander/3” sanding wheel. 95% of my notches are done this way. Just how I learned to do it.

 

Does anyone know what the maximum wheel BS is that can be run with the 2.25 kit? I’m trying to determine if wheels with 4.85” BS will have clearance issues

Was told 4.75 anything more things start getting kinda tight. Sounds like its right on the edge not 100% sure
