group buy of slide rack please. Although I'd like to see one installed on a stock width, stock-ish frame truck like yours, driven around, and some feedback of course. It is so brand brand new, just want feedback for driving, regular use, turning while flexed offroad, mud, etc.

We will have the truck driving around shorty. Keep in mind this is not a new design to us and we have been doing this for years... no doubt it will work killer

I really want to see that on your truck with a full write up and pictures of the process and final product. I'm hoping those are mock up boots, final ones would be secured better and not sliced? would be great to find a boot setup that would work on the slide as well, yes it has seals but so does the stock rack right?

With boots secured on it, seems as though you could put a zerk on that and add a small amount of super light grease or oil to it occasionally? To keep it happy? Just thinking out loud, response/flip side of the coin welcome

The rack bolts are just sitting there for the pic, not secured. The slide rack has a zerk in the center to keep it lubed... boots will do nothing but if it made you sleep better you could easily add them

The electronics have zero issue with what we are doing and the truck they are going on right now has all that stuff. There are finished pics of stuff in a bunch of different places. I’m thinking about starting a new thread to consolidate it

I don’t understand your question... are you asking how the axle plunges? If so it plunges in the 934 like a normal CV

Yeah I was. I thought I had read previously that the reason going to a 934 was to get rid of the plunge and move it to the shaft. I may have misread that description though.

With this set up using stock shafts (correct???) and stock outer joints what would warranty be like as well as any other issues that possibly could occur?
Yeah here it is what do you mean by the plunge in the axle and not the CV?

Been watching since the get go and this has really snow balled from fitting tires without a cmc to full on bad ass what’s the end goal with this truck I thought it was dd, now super bad ass. Also fab work is incredible between this and the 81, really wish you were closer to me I could just leave you my truck and forward checks for years :spending:

The axle plunges in the CV, this is why the axle splines are longer than the CV cage and there is a snap ring on the end of the axle. The CV it’s self allows for plunge as well. As for warranty you’re not gonna break a 934 and the 300M axles are the same. You will break the stock outer before anything else

Sorry if this is a dumb question, but do you have to balance the axle? They spin all the time, so I just wonder if there would be any vibrations. Not that I would notice in my truck which shakes like a train anyway.

Also, very interested in the full setup, LT, rack slide & axles. Already have the LCA mounts.

I'd start with axles. That's the easiest to install.

I'd be down for a set of axles. What are the core requirements going to be?

Learning a lot here. I'm only a few years onto this obsession and my mid-travel build. I recently jumped to 35s and about to install new 3rd members with 4.88 and ARB in rear. From my research I know the next weakest parts on my current setup would be steering rack and axles. Are the products your making compatible with mid-travel? I would likely jump in on a group buy for rack and axles.

Do the initial prices include the LCA pivots subframe?
