After figuring out what the sticker looks like (yellow) I don’t see one on my truck anywhere. I can look in the FSM for you though.

Edit: Looks like 20.10 oz to 22.22 oz

The piece the sticker is attached to is the top cover that goes over the radiator and fan shroud, mine is currently off, my dumb ass finally got around to installing the inner fenders, and when you drop something, and you’re not so sure where it dropped, and you spin the fan to make sure it didn’t land in the shroud, actually look, because if you don’t, and you start your truck, you’re truck will start bleeding pink and you’ll be down $250 waiting for a radiator, FML! Ha

Such a tossup on what to do. I feel I would not like headsets because I like hearing what the truck is doing too. Or maybe I just don’t tie the shock towers into the cage? But that seems somewhat foolish.

If I knew the gains would be significant, I would probably just go bypasses. But considering I have nobody around that has bypasses it’s hard.

I can tell you that all of us that work here and have had off road trucks for decades all have the bypass tubes closed off. They are noisy as hell and get really old in a pre runner. What we do is run 3 tube bypass shocks with welded check valves in both compression tubes. The rebound tube is screwed all the way in or closed off. Then you valve the shocks for your personal preference. Both compression tubes act as bypass gates or “free bleeds” and you can open up the rebound tube as needed to reduce rebound

Depends on what your priority is. The performance gains from a 3 tube would be significant if you're willing to deal with the additional noise, which isn't for everyone. The single tube free bleeds is a great concept but has inherent limitations. It essentially makes the shock a two tube bypass without the ability to adjust the circuits separately. The ability to ramp up damping control throughout the stroke of the shock is undeniably a superior feature of a bypass shock with multiple zones, no question.

Or you do something like this.

Now that sounds like a good option. Rebound plays a massive roll for me personally as I utilize rebound a ton for our hard and choppy terrain. So at least having the ability to get some control on it when needed would be nice. That’s literally the only down fall of the single tube. Otherwise I’ve had absolutely no complaints.

Thing for me is I don’t need multiple zones really. I can jam pretty hard as it sits now. I use just short of my available travel without the need to ramp things up through the stroke. It’s actually a pretty nice bonus because I’m no longer craving more travel. I have everything I need now. That was my main thought behind adding a single rebound tube to each shock.

Well, I think that’s an end to my fun until may/June. Last 24 hours have been brutal.

If it weren’t for the fact every single road is absolutely loaded with salt I would be doing just that. Just can’t get myself to drive this build in that shit. I’ll get it to the shop, clean it up and start the cage build I guess.
