Anyone have a lead on the complete radiator support for a 3rd gen?
If not, might just have to get a 2nd and mod it. Have to move the timeline up for the inner fenders. Drivers side completely cracked and headlight is barely there.

Finally cycling to get my bumps setup.

I want to mount my reservoir parallel to the frame but the fittings they came with won't allow me. I can't use the king brackets because the gussets cover the bolt holes. Ideas for mounting?

It'd be crude but effective to just weld a piece of angle iron wherever the resi naturally lands. Throw some edge trim on there to protect the resi and you'd be all set.

I would change the fittings and have them recharged and mount them how you want. You will be happier in the long run.

Thanks. That's what I was thinking. I've never messed with big shocks before. Only mtb shocks. Where do you normally take it to have them recharged? And can I I just change the fitting without having to de-charge it?

Only do this if you want a face full of fluid. You have to let the pressure out.

I have a recharge kit that I pieced together... only takes paying a couple of recharges to a company to make up the costs. Also letting the pressure out really helps to cycle the suspension.

Okay thanks. I'm sure I can find a video online how to it properly.

Any MX shop, just don’t tell them they’re going on your truck. I’ve had someone say no problem first and then refuse later (prob for liability fears)

Yeah, if you're replacing that fitting you're going to need to refill that shock which will require you to disassemble. It is slightly more involved if you don't have the tools or experience. Do your research and see if this is the way you want to go. You can also probably find several other shock service guys to help you with this.

Do you actually care about the resi orientation? In my opinion it's not worth the effort of swapping fittings because you'll have to buy fittings, find a place to recharge them and then pay to have it recharged. Depending where you're located, you're looking at at least $100 in fittings and charging it (I only have my local shops as a reference point). Then you'll still need to make/buy a bracket to mount it to the frame rail.

Or, just mount them as they are.

Be cautious of tire clearance if you're trying to mount the resi horizontal. Especially being you're on a stock length kit. A lot of shock manufacturers went to the vertical mount as it offers the most amount of tire clearance considering all of the variables.

Thanks for the tips guys. I'll have to do some research and see which route I want to go.

Thanks to Harry for mounting mine on top of the frame in front of the tower. There was just enough room to get to the adjusters.

Do you have UCA gussets? Kinda looks like the bottom of one poking out in your pic, you can with mount directly to them our weld on some tabs. I've use both methods.

Just made some nylon rack bushing for the silver truck... the factory bushings were allowing for too much deflection especially since this poor truck has been to hell and back :)
