It’s pretty standard to have to preload the drivers side more than the passenger to get it to sit level. That’s not a large difference so it tracks that your battery is relocated. I have a larger difference between the two sides and still have the battery in stock location.

In my experience yes this is normal. My personal truck I run about 5 more “turns” of preload on the drivers side. The fuel tank is also on the drivers side which adds a bit of weight

Super normal. It even says in the instructions of most kits to do this when installing.

Accidentally posted this same thing in the Long Travel BS thread, so I apologize for the duplicate, but the video is out!
comments, likes, and dare I say, subscriptions go a LONG way for us. If you're feeling generous, or got tingly watching the trekker, we'd appreciate it :bananadance:

I wish we'd had more time to actually shoot, but for just going out for a blast, it was a lot of fun and the video turned out pretty decent!

I was hoping for more Trekker action, from drones and from a chase vehicle would have been good. Hopefully the You TUBA crew or perhaps even the Terra Crew is interested. But thanks for the teaser.

We were gunna go back the next day to shoot but the JD guys packed up 15 minutes before we got there. We wanted to shoot more too!

That's always how these things go, in the moment you just want to drive and have fun, and then later on you wish you'd got more footage.

Scrambling to move by Tuesday with a truck cut in half. Bunch stuff to do to get it rolling onto a trailer. Started with link pockets. These will stay bolt on for the move.

Working on assembly of the full floater right now as well. Going to be a lot of crude quick stuff. Trying to get a temporary coat of paint on parts since it will probably be sitting in the rain when I get to my new house.

I was thinking my 4runner has the same amount of turns on both front coilers but I have to counteract my lean with a 1" spacer on the driver rear coil lol

What's the magical wheel combo for those running an SUA w/ bypass in the rear with a stock axle? Thinking 2" wheel spacers with what offset, etc? Not looking for true bead locks and don't want something super heavy or expensive. Probably stick to a 33" tire.

Is the 1st gen Tundra axle wider? It should accept your pumpkin (unless you have the factory elocker) and brakes…

DMZ recommends a 1.5 spacer for their kit. It’s what I used with a 4.5 bs wheel.
I just happen to have a set of black 1.5 spidertraxs for sale if that’s the route you go.

I know I ran 1.5’s with my scs f5’s but I didn’t have the crazy offset ones and I also didn’t have bypasses than.

What size shock is that used in conjunction with? I run 1.25" currently on my truck with smooth bodies and don't have a lot of clearance at articulation.

Not sure where the 1st gen Tundra axle falls in comparison to a 2nd. It's obviously wider than a 1st gen Taco axle.

From what I remember from when I researched this I don’t think the 1st gen tundra is much wider if any than the 2nd gen taco.
