I use a 2” spacer with 4.75 bs wheels. At ride height I have around 1-5-2” between the tire and closest bypass tube.

This is Harry's reply to me.
The wheel spacers are needed to prevent the tires from rubbing on the shock body when the suspension articulates. If you have 3.5” BS wheels you can get away with out spacers otherwise the 1.25” spacers are ideal.

No. I havent experienced any issues ie. shock fade, overheating with these 2.5's. About 2 years after i initially put them on I did rebuild them and the seals were in good shape and the oil wasnt too bad either. So I'm not really sure what gains I would get from 3.0's

Here’s my situation with 37’s and -38’s with 1.25 spacers and full articulation. It’s close as hell, but not touching. I feel like it’s something you’re just gonna have to do and figure out along the way.

Check this out gents. Picture 1 is almost all of the weight set on the ground. Bumps fully engaged but the lift wouldn’t go low enough to put all weight on the bumps. Picture two is full droop. This is WITHOUT an engine, trans, interior, inner fenders yada yada.

To clarify for anyone else I think Cory is showing the deflection between the two coilover towers. Took me a minute to figure out wtf I was looking at.

Oh I’m well aware of it and have been. Just wanted to take some time tonight to play around since it’s easy with no engine in the way. It’s probably pretty ridiculous when you factor a nasty crack off-road.

Easily an inch more. Like I said, this still wasn’t full weight on the ground. And missing like 1,000lbs up front lol
