No, I still gotta install my bedsides. Been putting it off. I’m talking about the gap from the end point of the bumper to the end point of the flair on the fender like below.

Ah got it. Yeah I hate the way that looks too. Mine was the same. I have cut fenders so I just tried to taper them a little so it looked better. Still isn’t great though.

I was going to say if it was the rear instead of adding you could have just flared the stick bed a bit. Took a page from my stanced days and used a baseball bat to pull the bed out. Got a 2” flare that way.

Something along the lines of this. Obviously more than one way to achieve similar results. My bolt on Pelfreybilt sliders interfered with the frame brace so I cut and modified. Welded the back leg straight to the frame brace. Technically still “bolt on” but I have no intention in taking them off again.

    groundhogs day again… @81Trekker

what would be the main deference in your nylon rack bushings vs the energy suspension poly ones?
Mainly wondering about material, as I know yours comes with shanked bolts.

    2” or so lift
So, I’m assuming I probably need to call the shop for this question, but if someone has the spring under kit sitting in a box waiting for shocks, what would need to be done to get the frame brace.

Did read that the ES ones deform quick. Now I’m reading that whiteline ones have spotty fitment lol
By process of elimination, I think I’ll go with jd’s ones and a Napa lifetime rack

I can't leave anything well enough alone
where did you read this? Not sure if I missed it in this thread. I've had the ES bushings... junk and lots of problems... replaced with whiteline and 1/2" grade 8 bolts and reamed sleeves...and it was like magic - all my steering issues were gone (had rack shifting laterally as well as clunking in steering wheel but never any play in steering). I'm curious to hear what is the spotty fitment of Whiteline - if it has to do with the bushing itself, or the sleeve being loose on the 11mm shank of the oem rack bolts.

It was in some other thread I read, from like 2019 or something. The bushings were loose in the rack or something. Just one guy it seemed

There are two different size bushings in some racks for whatever reason. Our kit includes both bushing sizes so it will work no matter what you have

Actually making new ones for mine right now. I’ll be landing tube from the cage on them and had to clean it up. It’s not that involved to make nice fitting ones!
