For the custom spindle crowd here is the deal… if 10 people commit and put down deposits we will make them. The upgrade will consist of a fully fabricated spindles with a vertical upper and new control arms. The outer tie rod will step up to a 1” and the lower EMF will be swapped out to a 1” Uniball so it can be double sheared in the spindle. We will retain the Toyota unit bearing so you don’t loose the speed sensors and will have OE brake mounts.

It won’t be cheap, probably somewhere between $2500-3000 but if you guys are serious we will do it.

Mounting change? Or still OE location? Able to bump off the spindle or UCA? If so, you can count me in.

The upper arm will be on heims and can be mounted in any configuration you want. And yes the spindle will be designed to bump off the top.

How much travel is realistically achievable with the same axle is my only question. I feel like the diff would have to drop to get much more down travel out of it. Lots of room for up travel, but like you already said, the belly will be on the ground.

I'm definitely interested, but I'd be hoping for 16"+ of travel, and can't see the axle doing that as is.

You will gain 3” uptravel… and with your 69” tires you will have plenty of ground clearance

I keep thinking of ditching my 4WD. Throwing the whole 4WD system and the lt kit on my 4Runner then asking @81Trekker to build me some beams. To keep the truck JD everything.

It's probably easier to cut out the back of the cab than the front!
