I think it’s the largest available surface area rotor on the market for the 17” option, they are super well made and designed. I did them in preparation for adding my magnuson SC, decked box, and GFC buildout and it was pretty drastic of a difference over stock but installed all of those quickly after. I do feel like it would have been sketchy keeping stocks on there though for sure with all the extra weight/power.

I need to tighten the emf caps but not seeing the set screw, is it under the paint somewhere?

Not sure if the bottom is setup the same way as the top but it’s near the top threaded cap on the side

Am I missing something? I’m not seeing the set screw? It’s supposed to be on the side right?

My Howe Kit and new rack is in. Steering is bled.

My questions is now about the coolant lines to the heat exchanger that I replaced with the supplied tubing......Do I need to burp or bleed the coolant system now? Drove it a quick block to check/finalize alignment and the coolant reservoir is empty now which I assumed would happen. Do I just add OEM coolant to top off the radiator at the cap and the reservoir or is there a process to burp the coolant system?

Also I have a check engine light on, havent pulled codes yet. Could it be from the ground wire off the OEM steering pump that I just have tied up and away now? should I re-ground that? (feel like this is a dumb questions now that Im writing this)

That wire off the stock pump won’t throw a code, probably. It’s just part of a pressure switch to bump up the rpm to help the stock pump. I never reattached it, no codes thrown.

We got so tired of looking at all the “sliders” that don’t slide and get hung up on rocks that we built our own. These are actually sliders and have zero flex

Leave it to JDFab to do it right. Are these available and will they work with the frame brace? Just another example of why I don't even look elsewhere for my Tacoma needs.

They will be available very soon, have a bunch cut out sitting here waiting to be welded. We have both steel and an all aluminum version. We have them designed to work with and without frame braces
