Fitting 35’s with minimal trimming NOW ADDING LONG TRAVEL AND 934 CV’s

    And double sided. The Exterior box and Interior bezel sandwich the composite bed, all while thru bolted. Super strong

    Completed another almost flawless 150ish dirt miles yesterday. I'd have to say I would consider the Leaf Spring Pack to be well broken in after this trip. On this trip I experienced washboard from hell, so bad that I ended up adjusting all of the Bypass Tubes open. This when I discovered that I couldn't Open the Rebound Adjuster as much as I wanted to.

    The Adjuster got too close to the Shock Tower. It's a simple fix that shouldn't take to long with a die grinder, something for this upcoming weekend.

    Has anyone else had issues with these? Is it still a current problem?

    If you still have the EMF lowers contact JD they will send the uniball replacements. For the uppers, I think your on your own or if they send the new JD joint thing they made. I just run full FK upper and lower now.

    Sounds like they still have issues if JD is offering replacements.

    I have uniballs currently, but I like how much quieter the Icon delta joint UCA's are, so a sealed/greasable joint is appealing - but not if it fails.

    I just received my uniball replacements, but it’s not looking good. The new unit slid inside without any resistance and the joint has some side to side play and is free spinning in the cup.

    This still the way to go? If I remember Toe 1/8-1/4"?
    My steering is twitchy as fuck with these, to where little bumps and the front skitters about. Worse at speed on the highway

    Personally, I run 0 camber, 0 toe and around 6 caster. I can let my wheel go at 70 and it will track perfect.

    0 toe is technically incorrect on any rear wheel drive vehicle ? because of steer ahead scrub you should have 1/8” toe to end up with your tires parallel while actually moving

    Toe in may have been the norm on rear wheel drive vehicles years ago. Especially before rack and pinions. Now if someone has added heimed ends even less so. For track driving even a little toe out can help. If you no longer have to take in consideration of all the free play in tie rod ends (years ago when vehicles could have had 4 tie rod ends) a lot of movement was normal. If you have a little toe out the inside tire on a turn will turn in sooner and the outside will be on a larger radius than the inside reducing some push or scrub. However all three static numbers (numbers created when aligning) have to work together in dynamic conditions.

    Highly doubt he's racing with those alignment numbers. 0 camber isn't even ideal on any dynamic conditions other than trying to save tires for the next owner

    Front suspension: Work in progress JD Fab +4 LT, LCA pivot kit, steering slide rack, 934CVs Rear suspension: Archive Garage shock relocation and SUA Conversion,King 14x2.5 shocks, King 2x2 hydro bumps, FN wheels 5 stars, sliders

    0 Camber may be perfect for him if 95% his driving is on the freeway. The point being is that there are no hard-set numbers. There are just so many variables including driver preferences. Just as Harry stated for himself, he does not really care about tire life as he is more interested in performance. The tolerances that say Toyota provides are not there to make it easier to bring into alignment and get that box green but a range of what is acceptable for different needs. You see people doing 5-6 degrees of caster, fine for higher speeds. If I was aligning it for someone that drove only in the city and rarely used it on the freeway I would shoot for something closer to 2-2.5 degrees.

    That was my thought. There are a number of bearing/bushing retaining compounds. The gap dimension should be known to select proper compound.

    The Locktite 660 is like for up to gaps of .025 or something..but please double check
