12" travel without shocks, bumps or straps..

The C/O's are not compatible with this kit, so I'm stuck until I get the correct ones. The travel numbers with the wrong C/O' will be in the single digits after properly setting straps and
    Bumps.

So the uniball is limiting travel to 12”?

Shocks aside that doesn’t match the claimed number of the kit. Surprising for a 4” over kit.

The binding at the bottom of the Uniball Cup and Misalignment is the limiting factor for sure. Im curious to know the diameter of the misalignments of the now obsolete EMF setup compared to the new design. Maybe the diameter is larger and making so everything binds sooner.

@MonkeyProof I messaged ya on IG. Also, if you search way back when @snowsk8air2 installed my kit. We ran into the same issues. With the CO that ADS built me we were able to squeeze it out. However had to later adjust bump down as I ended up bending the shock towers.
In the end, with the valving and such. It worked well within its limitations.

I think I’m done cutting. Didn’t turn out too bad. Not quite as clean as I would have liked but I’ll accept it.

I have the fixed resi on mine so I wouldn't be able to rotate the body anyways for the Adjuster clearance like we were discussing earlier..

Still has a rotating body cap. Just depends on clearance you have between the bed & resi.

I may have to rotate mine to clear the hose fitting when articulating but I’ll confirm when cycling.

Did you not receive the aluminum spacer that comes with the kit?

Pretty sure I didn't, ill have to check my box of misc hardware and what not that I got from RonRon. I know that for sure that they were not included in the box when I recieved the Bypass Mount kit from JD.

Pretty sure they're supposed to be included with the bypass mount kit from JD.

It's been awhile since I received my kit though so I may be mistaken.

According to their description, the kit comes with shock mounting hardware and spacers. I recieved neither of that.

Looks like this is the official JD Fab thread.

I just bought some stock length upper control arms for my truck. What is everyone using to grease the sealed uniballs? JD Fab told me teflon grease but I’m looking for more context.
I see tri-flow dry lubricant is used for exposed uniballs but I don't see a good way to get that into my grease gun and into the zerk fitting on JD's sealed uniball.

It looks like Super Lube comes in a grease tube, would this work? It appears to be teflon based but some confirmation from more experienced folks would be appreciated.

I apologize if this has been answered already. 900 pages is a lot to go through and the search function didn’t bring any meaningful results.

Super lube works. I think JD also uses red and tacky but not sure
