im using superlube. When I called Jesse about what the blue stuff they use is, he just told me not to worry about it, I'll never have to add grease ever, which i don't exactly agree with, living in the salt belt

Thank you. Just the guy I was hoping to get a response from.
Love your truck, can’t wait to see it finished.

Californians just don't understand the struggle. They can't grasp it. We were at Ian's from Wheel Every Weekend and setting up the taco we brought down from Canada for Shock Value, and he couldn't believe how rusty and seized the bolts were. He said it was the worst truck he's ever seen, and I was like, this truck isn't even that bad, this is just an average day in our shop.

Me either dude!!! stuck doing a 3.4 swap on our 88 4runner right now and doing a bit of stuff on it before a moab trip in a few weeks. I also daily it, so it will be nice to have it running properly. but as soon as its done, I'll be back on the grind!

We've got it pretty easy down in SoCal, as far as temps/corrosion

Yeah I guess I should have said trucks plural. I'm super jealous of that 88, I've always wanted a first gen. You should make more videos of both it and your tacoma.
I cant make my wife read TW threads but she will watch your videos. When we saw you cycle the rear travel of the tacoma both our jaws dropped!

Both trucks look great! Super stoked to see the final result.

Not too bad even in NorCal since they don't do straight salt here.

Got an email update from Jesse. The correct C/O's are a few weeks out, and they will be sending new Misalignments with a different shape that will allow more articulation before binding.

We only had to put in a rear diff at the beginning and rebuild a steering box in a frying pan at the end of the trail. For us that's a pretty good trip. I'm gonna keep this in mind for when you need a tug from the recovery samurai.

My search came up empty. If I have the H70s is there any way Deaver can send me some replacement leafs to turn it into the HD pack or is it going to be a total swap? I like the H70s when I've got no load at all, but weighed down or towing it's just not ideal. I know Harry told me I should've went HD to begin with, but I'm stupid and didn't do it because I was worried about it being too stiff.

I think the short, technical answer from them would be "no" as the springs lengths are progressively shorter in the pack. Adding a spring would double one of them or leave an irregular space. But doubling the right spring might give you the lift you want. For a temporary fix you could find a set of used clapped out and add a couple leafs. I did that and it worked for a bit until the whole set was clapped out. My new set is a H70HD-HD and I removed a spring to make them right. Once they start clapping out I can put the spring back.
