Hell, doin a DB lift is just as bad as tubing as far as cutting up your truck goes. For some reason cutting into my truck don't seam to bother me as bad as I thought it would, I guess it's cause I know I perfectly capable of doin it

Make sure to peel back all of the wiring harness before you go to town! I may or may not have gotten cut happy and sliced a few wires! Take your time and make sure to remove all of the fire wall insulation that likes to catch on fire!

Yeah bud this ain't my first bull ride lol. Always unhook that negative battery terminal when welding on vehicles. My uncle found that out the hard way and had to replace a $5000 ecm on one of the tractors we got on the farm

Well HOT ROD I had my ground disconnected. It ain't my 1st rodeo either. Been welding on cars, trucks and equipment for more than 20yrs. It still fried my ECM. Just giving you a heads up. When you tub the passenger side you are very close to the ECM. I just got lucky and had a spike jump through my ECM. You could weld a 1000 trucks and not have this happen. But it can happen so again disconnect your ECM along with the negative terminal. Just trying to help so you don't have the same thing happen.. Not saying you don't know what your doing..

    Step 1: drink a beer
    Step 2: drink another
Step 3: move shifter lever into D while drinking your 3rd beer and floor it
Step 4: drink your 4th beer while smoke billows out from your balding 265's
Step 5: rotate back tires to front
    Step 6: repeat steps 1-4
Step 7: change tires over to 35's while drinking a beer
