Removed front spoiler, Toyota All Weather Mats, Toyota sill protectors, Towing package with Curt tow bar & hitch, tinted front driver & passenger windows @28% Llumar Film, removed pinstripes, added 4x4 TRD Off Road decals, Toyota OEM mud flaps, BFG KO2 265/75/16 tires, ...more to come.
I have been shopping for accessories today and I have noticed something odd. Many items show as fitting the 2016 Tacoma double cab from 2005-->forward. Things like OEM roof racks, nerf bars, etc. Is the cab the same or not? Some sites show, for example, nerf bars working for the 2016, while the same part number on another site shows that it will not fit. I'm confused. You would think if everything fits from 2005--> the companies would want you to know so that they had a better chance at selling accessories.

A specific example would be: PT767-35113. This shows as "fitting" my 2016 Tacoma LB, but it also shows on some sites as not fitting. Ugh...

There are even photos that contradict each other. One shows as fitting and another shows a different cab/bed orientation. This should not be that hard folks.

Do you know if a short bed nerf bar step will fit in a long bed? Both are double cab and the only difference is the bed length. I don't see why it wouldn't fit, but I'm not sure. Any help will be greatly appreciated :)

99.9% of the factory style nerf bars or steps fit- they use 5-6 factory bolt holes in the cab to bolt up . I kinda prefer the shorter step on the long bed , makes truck look higher off the ground (short beds look higher stock in my opinion) but I love the overall look of long bed better especially when lifted.
