I'm new to the Tacoma's. I just got a 07 double cab LB. My 2000 Tundra has a 3" rust hole in the frame rail and will be leaving the family soon...
Does anyone have experience in putting 18" by 10" KMC monsters on a tacoma? I am planning on a 3" lift/level kit. What offset rims will I need and do I have to worry about the UCA? I was looking at 285/60/18 tires. Will I have to do any major trimming to get full usage and steering out of the truck. Thanks to all that reply.

You will need to shoot for a backspacing of 4.5" or less. With a 3" lift, you should be clear and not have to worry about rubbing at that BS. Also with the 3" lift, you will want to get UCA's to get your alignment back in spec. Without them you will not be able to achieve proper caster.
