what are the advantages/disadvantages to 5 or 6 lug wheels? i see lots of people mention one or the other and i never would have thought twice about it when buying a truck.

    girls like 6 lugs more.

actually as a rule of thumb, the more lugs the heavy the truck/more load capacity.

It's mentioned because the 2wd non prerunner trucks have 5 lug wheels instead of 6 lug wheels.

    wat?

^^ thats the main reason its used here. u can have a 2wd in 5 or 6 lug. 5 lug is the mini base model and the 2wd 6 lug is the prerunner model
