I wasn't discouraging camping at all btw just saying they were out last weekend in North Frontenac. It's a popular area so I think it was an organized effort to crack down on it there. With this shit almost over I'd be surprised if they were out again though. Wish I was closer by and less busy this weekend otherwise I would come. Just a warning to get into some rough stuff so they don't find you in case they are out.

Thanks TEC for organizing this event. The rookie run was a great time, put each of the new sliders to use and got the truck covered in mud and accomplished some difficult obstacles. Nice meeting some new people!.

discovered a screeching rubbing noise from the front drivers side wheel area especially when turning left then it would come and go, had to pull over a couple times to check but couldn’t notice anything, hopefully just dirty bushing or bent brake shield.

I took the "scenic route" to Kinmount by going west on Salmon Lake Rd. Came across White Lake with an interesting dam/narrow bridge. Burnt River behind Kinmount Fish & Chips is nice and peaceful as usual.

 

Wow! What a great day. Concession may be my favorite trail. It was nice to meet some new people and enjoy the outdoors. The bugs where bad but not unbearable.

The truck performed when but I think a trip to the alignment shop is now in order...
