Fix for Tacoma door lock problem (door lock actuator motor)

    Following. The rear passenger door on my 2020 suddenly won't lock and unlock with the fob. Have to reach in from the front and manually lock & unlock it.

    I realize this is a 2nd gen thread but do y'all know if the motor/actuator is the same for a 3rd gen?

    Bluetooth and aux input added to stock JBL sound system. Full coverage skid plate.
    My driver's side door will not unlock and the door is closed. How are folks getting to the actuator? The door panel seems like the hurdle for access but also it's not clear now folks are managing to open their door. Any detailed suggestions from experience would appreciated.
