    What color is the oil??
    Is it black, brown, red??
BTW, driveshafts don't have oil, they have grease. If you have an oil leak it maybe drifting from elsewhere.

    Hope that helps
    Cheers!

There is other threads on this, the consensus is that the drip is oil separating from the grease packed into the bearing. not a problem

Everything around that boot is dry,and there is nothing else in that immediate area that could be leaking

Nothing wrong with that and it's perfectly understandable being as you just had an unfortunate and rare sensor leak.
Good luck and let us know how it all works out for you.

    Cheers!

If it's coming from the boot section then yes, the slip section is splined and has grease to allow the shaft to slip

Well still without my truck now for 4 days.Toyota is replacing the whole driveshaft now so those of you who think this is grease breakdown or oil residual it's not.So now I'm back without a truck for this issue and put in an old fart Camry.Next issue is the howling in the rear diff they said they would fix but as soon as Toyota comes out with a fix, rather than replace it for it to go again they said drive it for now and see what happens.Thats toyotas new words of wisdom I guess.Im hoping a train hits this fucker and totals it out cause that's what point I'm at now.Everyone check their driveshafts for oil at the pic posted above.

Tell them you want to see the old parts. You know, so they can show you what actually failed.

Please take pictures and post them.

Exactly what are we looking at in the photo you posted? Front ujoint? Rear ujoint? center bearing?

This site is enough to convince not to purchase a 3G Tacoma. Not because of the issues reported. It is the stupid, sarcastic responses some posters post.:D

Smart remarks are part of TW. But the mods get a little nervous when threats are thrown around. :argue:
