I know there are a few threads about how other guys have done this, but I recently (FINALLY) got my dash to stop rattling.

I had some black or dark grey packing foam that some electronics had shipped in. It was maybe a half inch or so thick. I cut it into three squares maybe 6"x6" and folded these squares over a couple or times. Then I took a putty knife and used it to wedge these folded up squares between the dash and plastic up against the windshield. I stuffed a piece in the middle of the dash, one over by the passenger side A-pillar and one about halfway in between those two.

That's it. Took about a minute, is barely noticeable and only used stuff I already had laying around. It's been about a week and man, what a difference. Just thought I'd share, in case anyone else wants to try it.

Sweet! That noise has been driving me crazy as well. Got any pics?

Honestly, there's not much to see, just a couple little pieces of foam barely sticking up from behind the dash. If I can remember, I'll snap a pic or two for you tomorrow though.

I can't tell you how much nicer it is without the rattle!

I used 1/4 inch fuel line and shoved it in the whole length of the gap. No more rattle. Now for all the other plastic parts....
