nothing yet, first thing is new tires.
Props to you if this story is legit, but I have a hard time believing it. Either you are very lucky or your insurance are morons.

Rum don't give me hangovers. Think it's cause I get too full of diet coke to drink enough for a hangover.

It does apparently affect my ability to remember numbers!

What makes you think he didn't have his truck valed at $35,000 with his insurance company?

It's called custom parts and equipment. You pay more premium, but you get more in the event of a loss (with proof of add-ons of course).

    Don't be a dick.

    supercharger, ARE series 2 lid.
As far as fitting a v8 into a tacoma, the 4 runner has a 4.7 v8 as an option or am I seeing things. Are'nt the dimensions the same as far as engine compartments. If so, then its very possible to put this v8 in the tacoma.

The only thing i do question is the amount the insurance company paid them for the truck, assuming there was a buyback, then they would also have to pay the insurance company to get it back.

I am just going to sit back and wait for some pics. However, if I was going to do this to my reg cab tacoma, hell, might as well go all the way and throw a supercharger on it too. Then all I would really need after that is life insurance, a will made out, a therapist, and a good stiff drink.

Because its a 4 year old truck that originally MSRP'd at under $30K.

Lets say his truck KBB'd at $25K right now*, do you really think his insurance company is gonna cut him a check for $10K over that value because he has a lift and some stereo parts on his truck?

    Sounds fishy to me.

*Which is a very high number for his year. I'd guess around 18K-20K is what his truck was really worth.
