Anyone have a good fix for small pin spot rust spots?Just washed my '13 and found a couple on the door pillars.I know the dealer will say in is just rail dust. For 1300 dollar destination charge you would think they would cover the damn truck on the trip up.
a clay bar and then a touch up pen?Or does someone have a better idea.
argue with the dealer is just a waste of a days pay to be there .just as well to just fix it.
    suggestions?

    Starting over.......
I had at least a 100 of little rust spots yesterday when I did my first spring wash. The ones on my truck are from the brakes kicking off particles of metal that stick to the paint.

Anyways some light polishing compound takes them right off and cleans it up. Buffed the whole truck the waxed it. Will probably be a spring tradition.

I had this problem on my last car, which was white. I think the single stage nature of white paint and the light color makes it worse.

claybar the specks out, and wax the truck well. You could look into having it detailed and opti-coated or something along those lines.

Make sure they don't go too nuts and buff it or anything, if you let them take care of it. No need to go that harsh on the paint.
