    Hi there,

Just got a 2007 Tacoma Sport w/towing pkg, replacing the broken 7pin trailer harness.

The dealership here in BC is quoting me a kidney for the part alone it so I decided to do it myself.

Anyway this took me about 30mins, will be dealing with the final fitting later as I need to drill into the bumper but this will work for now.

Photos Attached. (Hopefully the photos don’t break in the future)

And that future owners will find this useful.

Good job, however, I'm not sure how picky your DOT is up north but they may have an issue with the loss of that tag light. There should be an attachment point underneath your bumper on the passenger side to secure the trailer bracket to. I dont have my stock bumper anymore otherwise I'd snap a pic for ya. I've seen some posts on this forum where they create a bracket to hide the plug behind the bumper so it's up and out of the way. Wiring is always a huge PIA, much props.

Edit: I wanna say that you took a picture of it in your 3rd to last picture. That looks about right to line up with the holes on your plug.
