Someone hit me a few weeks back, on the back end of my truck and left a crease in my chrome bumper and a small part on the bed panel or whatever its rightly named. I took it home and my dad and grandfather knocked the dents out. When he knocked them out it made some of the paint on the panel part come off, as well as a few high and low spots.

He told me to go the dealership and get some touch up paint and bondo and sandpaper. So I've got all that, maybe not the right grit sandpaper, but I'm curious as to whether or not this will work, because when I looked at a few things on the internet it seemed that people were skeptical about using bondo.

It's an area about the size of a credit card (a little smaller, though I can't upload a picture right now as I'm at work), and I just wanted to get your opinions on whether or not I should do it, as I'm careful with my vehicle.

SOrry for taking so long to get pictures up.

I had to take them on my phone, because I don't own a digital camera.

I wouldn't do it. Take it to a professional.
