So whatever happened? Is it still running? Did you put a new engine in it?

    Check your PCV valve.
Crappy fuel + high rev may end up with stuck PCV and crappy idle combined with loss power. When you unplug PCV valve check if there is oil residue in line, maybe you going have to clean throttle body.

And for the record, no big deal rev the engine, the problem is with removing foot from accelerator while engine is running at high RPMS. You need to gently lower the RPMS back to normal. Dropping your foot creates massive vacuum in crankcase that can suck O-ring out of the location. :D

+1 i thought these motors where non interference so theres no possible way the piston could slam the valves. that and revving it for 3 sec on rev limiter shouldnt blow your motor. even if they where and interference motor your not going to have timing issues with a timing chain espesially on a brand new motor like his.

also i took another look at your picture of the shot you have looking down into where the spark plug goes and it looks like the oil is coming from there the valve cover meets the head and leaking down into the plug. is there oil all over the ignition coil boot? Remember always look at the simple things first just because its a complex system doesnt mean its going to be a complex problem

From what I understand with the compression ratio and the timing chain, the 1GR-FE is an interference engine.

I'm kinda financially strapped right now, and can't take it to the dealer
    but it runs ok,

there was no oil on the ingintion coil boot, just the spark plug threads
