Looking to install a full size spare in the bed and need a spacer off the bed floor. If you have a FJ, can you post a picture of the spare tire mounting bracket from L/R and UP/DOWN please. Only one off the web is the one attached blow.

2 things, 1 there is an FJ forum under the “forums” tab in the top left corner and 2 why not just measure your spare and then add an inch or two and then get your spacer?

What you are looking at is my setup with a bracket between the door and mount.

I also have over sized tires so it's not exactly what you asked.

Based on the photo....it looks like you may need a spacer on each bolt to lift the mount off the bed sufficiently.

These pictures are of the side, top, and bottom. The bottom has the least amount of clearance at 6.5” (distance between tire mounting surface and the floor).

One advantage to using the FJ mount is being able to secure using a security lug nut

Yup. That is why I mentioned the security chain.

Thanks guys for help. Mounting holes too narrow to bolt in-bed. And saga continues...
