FJ roof rack, OEM only in back?

    Hey guys...

    what is the point of have only a basket in the back half of the roof rack? the front isn't really useful for much without the rack. Unless you want to tie your bike or canoe sideways....

    help me out, what am i missing?

    or

    what is a better, than OEM, roof rack, that isn't massive...

    Do any of you know how much weight the back section of the OEM rack can hold?

    Not sure if I would get a baja front basket, or just a full baja/ gobi rack...

    thoughts?
