FJ TRD Centercap Mod for TRD OR Wheels

Bro, by any chance did you get yours already?

Still haven't receive mines, ordered it the 19th April, USPS tracking says expected delivery is the 8th(yesterday), and that sh** hasn't been updated. Still reading 24th April, dispatched to sort facility. Their customer service sucks ass, no answer to questions I got.

 

After waiting for 22 days, finally received them yesterday. Cut and installed them today. It was a PITA to get them in, but got them to snap into place.

 

Got mine a little while ago but took the time to paint the TRD logo MGM to match the truck.

So, just to get this straight. I WILL have to cut these to fit my '13 OR wheels correct?

This is a long shot, but does anyone know if these will fit the split 5-spoke wheels from the earlier Tundras? I have a set coming in the mail, and I'll need to replace one of the center caps. One used matching center cap is almost as much as four of these...

I'm assuming, if no one knows, I could just test fit one of my existing center caps (I have the stock 17" sport wheels) and if fits, I'm good to go?

old thread, but I just ordered a set of the grey FJ caps and dropped off a set 17" Sport wheels to get powder coated anthracite- I'll post pics when it's all done

I'm keeping my other set of 17 Sport wheels w/ the silver TRD caps and will leave my winter tires mounted on them

I was thinking about getting the black TRD rims.

 

I know this thread has been around for awhile but damn I wish you could buy the TRD center caps already modified for the TRD off-road rims! that would be awesome!

 

I agree, those TRD center caps definitely makes the rim look a lot better!

 

I went through this a couple of years ago. I was concerned I would mess up so I ordered 1 extra as cost was like $7 each and shipping didn't increase. Didn't need it but nice to have spare.

 

finally got my Sport wheels powder coated, replete w/ anthracite TRD center caps

 

I still say someone needs to make these modified already and sell them! That way not so mechanically inclined or handy people like me can buy them! Lol

 

I will be doing this little mod next. Love the look.

 

I find that with the 17" sport rims it is true that you do not have to do the cutting. I did find that they fit better if you trim a little off the edges shown in the picture. Do it for all 12 edges.

When you test fit the cap before you cut you will see where the edge hits.
