    Hi All...

Found some stock FJ wheels 17":

    - any issues with fit..rubbing. I have a stock OR suspension and plan to go wirh the oem recc 17" tire size for tacos. I read the offset is broader

    - will I need new lug nuts

    - can i use my existing tire sensors move over

    Thx in advance

I believe tire sensors should be fine if you are going from alloy wheels to alloy wheels. I went from steel wheels to alloys and there were some fitment issues. It seems that they are a different shape I believe. Also, I believe lug nuts should okay going from alloy to alloy. Steel to alloy not good. The wheels might be offset a little differently so they might sit out a little bit further than the stock wheels.

They fit with zero rubbing. TPMS swap right over too, but do require a rebuild kit.

Everything will fit fine. Stock Taco wheels have a +30 offset, FJ and T4R wheels are +15 offset. You'll have a slightly wider stance, but the tires won't stick out beyond the fenders. Lugs and sensors will carry over no problem.

Im running FJ 17s as well and i havent had any issues. Like others have said, they are a +15mm offset, but they work great. Same lug nuts as TRD OR and TRD sport wheels on mine

Sort of have the same question. I replaced my wheels on my 08 FJ (17") and want to stick them on my 2012 Taco SR5 that is NOT a TRD. I'm thinking about Bilsteins to level or go with OME eventually. Will 17 wheels work on non-TRD Taco?

They will fit all 6-lug tacos.

Thanks. Any idea of max tire size after lift and before having to get out the Dremel?
