FJ's TRD wheel on a Tacoma.

Anyone have these wheels on there Tacoma? Wondering how they fit.

 

Lots of people do. They fit perfect. One of the primary reasons I got them was that they're 7" - and I wanted to run skinny tires. It's extremely difficult finding aftermarket wheels in 7" width. But I found these for a decent price, and think they look pretty awesome too.

Not sure what the offset/backspacing/yaddayaddayadda is on these, but one of the first things I noticed is that they definitely stick out a bit more than the stock wheels did. Gives them a good look though.

 

Oh, in the primary thread for this wheel, there were a few mentions of the red TRD sticker flaking off after a couple months. So before I had them installed I taped off the "TRD" and sprayed a layer of clearcoat on it. So far so good.

I'm debating running the same setup. I don't want to go wider than 265s.

To me they look great on most Tacoma's no matter what the color.

Old Man Emu 883 coils and shocks, which gave me about 1.3" up front, leveling the truck. 255/75R17 (32") tires.

 

Do you know if lugnuts from 14OR wheels will work on these wheels?

 

God I have the same question. I want to get some black lug nuts for those rims but I don't know what size lug nuts to get?

 

Stock lugs work great. I've had these wheels for a few months now and a freaking love them. As mentioned, definitely give a wider more aggressive stance.
