If you do a little research you will find its a rare breed our Tacomas
    Tacoma:
"The Toyota Tacoma is a pickup truck manufactured in the U.S. by the Japanese automobile manufacturer Toyota since 1995"

" 60 percent of its parts and materials are American-made, and final assembly splits time in the U.S. and Mexico. oct 19"

    As a side note:

"Ironically enough, the most American made full-size truck is the Toyota Tundra, and it's the only full-size truck to appear in the top 40.Jun 23, 2020".

A bit too far for me. Thanks for asking but mine is a mall crawler, pavement princess. The nearest I’ve been to off road is Manitoba gravel. :anonymous: :canada:

Many of the parts are made in the US. The v6 is i believe and the automatic transmission is too.
It's still just over 50% US made components on the 3rd gen if it was assembled in Texas or Mexico.
Several US brand cars have less domestic content than that.

I need some flags too. Myself on the rear window.

Must admit regardless where the truck was built pride of ownership and country aren't a bad thing at all. And may I point out I've had the pleasure of working in Mexico, we have Nothing on the Mexican manufacturing market, technology. They have fully embraced all modern, into the future manufacturing. If thier is any negative about a truck built in Mexico it would be no different then one built in our US plant.
Funny, probably 1/3 of the employees (just guessing) in the San Antonio plant are likely of Mexican decent. So technically. If you catch what I'm sayin.

I'm going to mount a Flagpole with the American Flag to my bed and rig up a small PA to play " WOLVERINE" on a loop as i drive around town, slowly.
