Last time we went: bone stock, never off-road, wet rocks. No problems.

Fairly certain I can be moved to going. Had to move some things around, but it looks good now.

When my wife (7 months pregnant) said we might be able to go up for the FPK group ride...I was talking about it in terms of a "day" trip.

She one up'd me and said, well we might as well camp overnight and bring the dog!! Anyone else planning on staying overnight?

Makes me a bit more motivated to bust ass this weekend (tomorrow the log splitter is being delivered, baby furniture is being delivered, and the drywall/paint crew are coming out for our warranty work, plus building 27'L x 4'D wood shed and general gear shed) so it frees us up for this trip.

I don't want to (what at least appears) be the only one coming from RVA/Tidewater!

Come to think about it, I probably should look at where everyone is meeting up or if I just need to get to Union springs for meeting up.

Rite rite. I’m in the RVA. As this gets closer and I can confirm commitment this trip.

I had planed on either waiting at the lake on US. or waiting further up the road where most people air down at. Then just fall in on them. Of course this depends on which way they plan on going up.

I’ll get with you as this closes in if ya want. and we could roll on up there.

If you're coming from Tidewater, we should meet you at the Union Springs Trail Head, or Maybe the Sheetz here:

The sheetz there is where I have always meet people coming in from all different directions.

That said, I think a time for actually hitting the trail should be set, then people could back fill with the various meet up spots if need be.

Just tossing that out there so as 3 doggies doesn’t have to come out of town, meet up, then drive back in.

    My$.02 anyway.

What side of flagpole are we going in? The reason I ask, is because there are 2 ways to enter. If we wanted to enter down by him, we have to go through the reddish knob entrance, which is usually the end for me.

That is the place I met up the time I went earlier this year, but as someone pointed out it's parents weekend at JMU so I'm not sure if being right there makes any difference.

I also second (though I'm only 75% committed I'm guessing) setting a time and place/meeting point...assuming @Truggin and company will be airing down here https://www.google.com/maps/place/3...!1s0x0:0x0!7e2!8m2!3d38.4950584!4d-79.0813027?
