The Susquehanna River runs right through Harrisburg, PA and has some nice ledges where you can park and play (no need to run shuttle). Of course these edges change a good bit depending on river levels. This weekend was the 50th annual Red Mo race in Grassflats, PA on the Red Moshannon. Weather is usually at or below freezing for this race. I've never paddled the Red Mo, but since the weather was going to be nice, I decided to head there to paddle the creek. It was a nice class II paddle.

I use Galileo pro and it works offline as long as you download the maps of that state. You can also import gpx files into it and have topo maps and what not.

No problem. It records your tracks and it's easy to use. I run it on the iPad and never have issues. I've used it all through Death Valley and the so cal desert and it's been flawless. It's cheap too.

My mount is a GoPro suction mount with an eBay silicone cover for the iPad. Works great. I keep looking at expensive ram mounts and custom stuff but until I find exactly what I want this works perfect. I drove across country with it and it didn't fall once. Didn't fall this trip either.

I didn't take many pictures, but I was kind of lagging behind the whole time trying to save my kidneys.

But I had a great time and it was awesome meeting everyone and seeing a couple people I already knew.

I was actually going to ask what you were using. You had all kinds of cool info about the trail when we stopped.

Ouch. All I got were some new pinstripes and a little bit more rock rash on one of my wheels.
